Los Angeles Hotels and The World's Greatest AmenitiesIf your visit is centered around a theme park such as Disneyland or Universal Studios, you'll probably want to stay at a hotel at or next to the park. When you're exploring the Los Angeles area, you'll probably enjoy one of the many beach towns in the area, such as Santa Monica. If you go to Venice Beach, you can be entertained by soon to be famous performers. Hang out and watch the ones you like the most. If you want to stay downtown, and you have a heavy wallet, you might consider The Bonaventure Hotel. It's an architectural masterpiece. My understanding is that the nearby The Original Pantry restaurant has never been closed for fifty or so years. And they have never been without a customer. You might be able to catch a Chinese martial arts movies with English subtitles. There's no wishy-washy stuff here. The martial artists fly when doing their stuff. This started long before Crouching Tiger and Hidden Dragon. And, of course, the Chinese restaurants are fabulous. Before you head back to your Los Angeles hotel, you might like to get in better touch with yourself. Perhaps you could attend a Yoga class. Yoga abounds throughout the area.
