California Spas

No longer just for the rich and famous stars of Hollywood, this spoiling is in the reach of nearly anyone.

If you can say the word "California" and not think of California Spas the you're not living right. Once the exclusive domain of the Hollywood Hills set, they can be found from the tip of San Diego to the Oregon border.

These healing wonders got their start in the early 1900's and the trend has continued to grow since then. While some spas promote exercise and fitness, other are more California laid-back and focus on relaxation and pampering. I'm sort of a relaxation and pampering advocate myself.

You have your choice and luxurious and trendy day spas, or you can spend a full week, or more, at those oh-so to die for Palm Desert resort spas. No matter which option you choose, California Spas are guaranteed to please.

Your day at your new found heaven usually begins with a light and healthy breakfast. Then you can go to the exercise room and workout with a fully qualified trainer at your side before relaxing in the sauna and getting a massage.

Or if you're more of a pampered pet than a body builder, you can opt for a mudpack facial, or avocado scrub, face peel, a soak in the mineral spa before lunch and then a full body massage. After that you can cut a wash, cut, and blow dry while someone works on your finger and toenails. Ah, now that's living!

Fees range according to location and services, but you can expect to pay anywhere from $150 to $300 per day at a California Day Spa, and a lot more than that if you want to stay at some of the top of the line California Spa resorts in Palm Desert.

But don't think about the money, think about the pleasure. After all, you're worth it!
